Yay for big plot!!! (*o*)
Yesterday before I went to sleep, everything seemed to have exploded at Ads!
It all started with Mello kidnapping one of the soldiers with Lockon and Allelujah.
The soldier died (his superiors killed him), now the army wants the culprit dead, and they have threatened everyone with invading the city in 24 hours if the terrorist who killed their soldier doesn't appear. From that post on, several people posted discussing the matter, Mello included, to make public the fact that the ones who killed the soldier were his own superiors, not himself (negative propaganda against the army). No one knows who the culprit is yet since Mello posted that anonymously, but most people seem to support him.
The thing is that the mods told me that Mello has to die, without any sort of chance to save himself. I suggested that perhaps Mello would manage to survive if he plays his cards well, since he'll obviously do his best to hide, but the mods don't want this. He has to die, and this is set on stone.
I admit that this has been a bit problematic to me at first, since I see several possibilities for Mello to survive there, but I've managed to find excuses for him not to use such resources ;;;;;;;;
He won't go into the safe building protected with magic because that could put everyone at risk, paying especial attention to Near's safety. Considering that the army won the battle against the most powerful characters in the past, Mello guesses that the army can still find the ways to destroy that building despite the magic, and hurt everyone like they did the last time. Even if they didn't destroy the building, they could camp outside for weeks and months, and the people inside would end up starving or getting killed if they try to go out for food.
In the end, Mello would get killed anyway, and so would many others.
So I guess that the excuse works? ;;
Anyway, the big downside is that the mistletoe event just started... so from being alarmed and having 24 hours to gather together before the army invades the city, now people are forgetting about it and randomly playing the mistletoe game as if nothing *LAUGHS*.
It's a problem when two events start almost at the same time. Now it kinda makes no sense ;;
I hope that we can finish the scientists plot today. Otherwise, it'll make even less sense as time passes.
