Summary: I suck at it so I don't know how to shorten it up. Basically, everyone other than Sho are in university (different grade; leader and Matsujun are older). Everything happens in the Keio University that exist in my mind (so none of the things mentioned in the story are legit). There's unexpected romance happen between different pairs and you are about to find out as you follow XD

The next day after having bunch of boring lectures about music theory and history, I actually follow Nino’s advice and pay a visit to the community police office. Deep breathe in deep breathe out; calm down Aiba chan, you can do it! Then I open the door and walk in to the office. It’s actually really spacious compare to what you see from the window. I look around and see if I can find the one that I am looking for when one of the officers approach me and asks if he can help me with anything. I tell him that I am looking for Sakurai-san. He then directs me to his room. What? He has a room? How high is his title?
“Knock, knock,”
“Come in!” I hear Sakurai-san’s deep, sexy voice answering and my heart started beating like crazy. Here we go...
“Sergeant Sakurai, you have a guest.” The officer opens the door and there he is, sitting behind his desk, dress in his black summer uniform that makes every women screams for and every men jealous. He has his head down, focusing on the paper works he is working on. His hair falls in front of his eyes. Handsome isn’t a word that can be described what he looks right now. Sexy. Dangerous. Those are words for him. I step around the officer and said “Hi Sakurai-san.” He then looks up and replying me with a smile.
“Hey! It’s you! What’s up? Have a seat.” He points at one of the chairs in front of him and waves at the officer as if he wants us to have some privacy. The officer bows and closes the door behind. I suddenly feel so nervous. I am alone in a room with a smoking hot officer.
“Am I disturbing you? ‘Cause it seems like you are working on something.” I point at the papers on his desk after I take a seat in front of him. I need to move away from him because I can smell him from here. It is intoxicating. He isn’t wearing cologne but I can smell his aftershave. It is a smell that’s strictly masculine. Oh god, he smells too good. It even makes my heart pound harder.
“Oh these? Nah, it’s not important at all. Just need to scribble a signature here and there. So what brings a cutie like you here?” He tidies his desk and put his elbow on the desk, resting his chin on his knuckles.
I blush at the word “cutie”. He thinks I’m cute or he is flirting with me? He probably just says that to everyone, he isn’t interested in guys... Or is he?
“I... I just want to say thank you for saving me the other day.” I just can’t look him in the eyes to say that. I feel so embarrassed for some reason, so I look down and play with my fingers. I waited and waited for his reply. After waiting like forever, I look up and see him studying me. I don’t know what to do but to look him in the eyes. Heat is building up in my face and I can’t help but ask him.
“Do I have something in my face?” I then start touching my face, hoping that I remember to wipe my face after lunch just now. He chuckles and shakes his head.
“No, you don’t. I just can’t believe you are actually cute but attractive at the same time. Anyway, you don’t have to come and thank me personally. It is my job to protect the students on campus. But for cute and attractive guys like you, I suggested you should probably save our office number in your cell for future emergencies. You can always give us a call anytime- day or night- if you aren’t feeling safe to walk around the campus alone.” He then gives me a card and scribbles something before handing it to me. I take the card from him and see a phone number written besides his name.
“That’s my card. You can the office number printed there but if you aren’t comfortable having other officers escorting you, you can always call me personally and I will definitely escort you myself.” He winks and me after he finishes his sentence. Holy shit! That definitely sounds like flirting to me. As I am about to say something, someone open the door.
"Hey Sho... Oh! Aiba-chan, how are you doing? Wait, am I interrupting something?" This voice... I turn around and see if I get it right, and I am right. It's my DM, Matsumoto san.
"Jun, you never learn. How many times have I told you to knock before you come in? And what if I tell you that you indeed, interrupted our conversation?"
"Wha....you guys know each other?" I am shock! I seriously don't know what to say.
As if Sakurai-san wants to say something, Matsumoto-san chuckles "Yes, we know each other for a LONG TIME."
"O.....oh... In that case, I am going to leave now. See you." I rush out the door and start walking to my next class. I don't know why but somehow I feel disappointed and heart-broken... wait, heart-broken? Why would I think that? Is not like we are in a relationship or something. As I am too focus in my thoughts, I somehow hear someone yelling around the corner. I hide behind a wall and trying to eavesdrop the conversation. Wait... is that Nino who is yelling? I turn around and I am right! It's Nino and he is yelling to someone that looks like an older student...
"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME!"
"Kazu... I... I don't want to hurt you. "
"You don't want to hurt me? Well, congratulations because you did! You didn't tell me you are back. Did you know what I have been through after I thought you were dead? I was devastated, and I was thinking of ending my life so that I can be with the man that I thought was my mate!" Oh lord, this must be bad 'cause I never see Nino cries like that.
"It's not like that..."
"It' not like what, while I was beyond devastated, you go and find a new mate. You are the one who broke THE promise. OUR PROMISE!" Nino keeps poking the other guy while he is yelling his guts out.
"Kazu..."
"You know what, forget it. I don't care how come you aren't dead, and I certainly don't care why you are in this school. The only thing I know is that, you are not the Satoshi that I used to love, and most certainly... WE AREN'T MATES ANYMORE! I am going to find a way to erase our marks... until that time, I don't want to see you. If you see me, walk the other way!" After that, Nino runs back to I guess our dorm building. I look at Satoshi-san's face; he looks... heart-broken isn't the right word for him. Crushed, is more like him. Satoshi looks up in the sky and a tear slides down his face...
"I love you more than anything, Kazu..."

That night, after all those boring classes, I decided to talk to Nino and see what's going on. Call me nosy but I don't want my roommate-slash-best friend to be sad.
"Hey Nino, can... can we have a little chat?" We are both in our room. I am lying on my stomach on my bed, watching Nino trying to crush his opponent on Super Smash Bros Brawl.
"Yea... What. Do. You. Want?" Nino being Nino, whenever he is playing, his sentence is always like that.
"Don't be mad, but I saw you today with another guy." Nino pauses him game and turns facing me. He sighs and looks sad.
"That's what you wanna talk about?"
"I... I never seen you act like that before. You are pissed and he is sad. Tell me... what's going on?"
Nino turns the TV off and lies on my bed, looking up the celling.
"He WAS my pet, my best friend, and most of all, my love of my life."
"Your what?! PET???"
"It's a really long story. I promised him... wait. Why do I need to keep his promise when he broken ours?" Nino laughs and look at me and asks,
"Can you keep a secret?" I nod.
"You promise you won't tell anyone?" I nod twice.
"He... he is a wolf..." *blink*
"Wh....wh... what? You mean...he is a...." I can't say anything... a wolf?
"A werewolf? Yes, he is."
"HOLY SHIT!!!" Nino covers my mouth and shush me.
"You want to know the story or what?"
"Yes, I am just shock. Sorry, continue the story please!"
"Okay okay... Well, when I was a kid, our family always went to my grandparents' during the summer. They lived in the country side. One summer, I heard the kids there said there're wolves in the forest and I got interested. We went as a group but I got lost in the forest. That's when I met Satoshi. He was still a whelp at that time. I panicked and started to run. I tripped and fell, hurt my knees and started crying." Nino laughs while telling me the story.
"Anyway, he came up to me as he was trying to comfort me. He nudged me with his nose and started licking my wound. It was then when I realize he wasn't in any harm. So I pet him like a dog, he looked me in the eyes with the bluest pupils I have ever seen. That's how we became friends. I would go to the forest everyday to see him, play with him, and talk to him. He listened as if he understands what I am saying. But happy moments never last. I have to go home soon and we have to say our goodbyes." I look at Nino as he is telling me the story. He really loves that guy, I can see it in his eyes.
"So, what happen after you left your grandparents?"
"I thought I would never saw him again until a few weeks later. I was in my room playing video games." I start laughing and he glares at me and continues the story.
"Yes, I was already a game otaku at a very young age. So, as I was saying, I was in my room when I heard my mom screamed. I dashed down the stairs and paused when I saw a wolf, not a whelp. A WOLF wiggling his tails in front of our door. I guess he sensed my presence so he just jumped on my and started licking my face. You know, I have to convince my parents that he wasn't just any wolf to keep him. I showed my parents the fact that he understands our language by asking Satoshi to give me a remote control. My parents were shocked but they were convinced. That's how he became my pet."
"Then how do you know he's a werewolf?"
"Don't interrupt. I was about to tell you but you just cut the story... Any who.... we became best friends, and one afternoon, as I was about to take Satoshi for a walk, I saw a teenage boy at around my age, wearing my clothes, standing in my room. I looked closely at the boy's eyes and realize he has the same pair of blue eyes as the wolf. I confronted him, he never denied it. We didn't talk for a week but curiosity kills the cat. I really wanted to know what wolf was he. We sat down and chatted, like you and me right now."
"What happen next? How did you two become lovers? Why did you guys break up?"
"I will leave the best part to next time when I feel like it. Right now, you know what I feel like?" I shake my head. "Bed time." He jumps down my bed and walk to his bed.
The whole night, I can't stop thinking about Nino's story. I wonder if I can have a love story like Nino's...
