FINALLY!
It has been awhile since I last posted an entry here on my journal though I am always online and reading my friends page. Anyway, there's just this thing I wanted to post here, and I think it's about time for me to find a work now.
I studied BS Nursing for 4 years in a University here in Manila, Philippines and yes, I graduated this 2011, March. I am a fresh graduate. I graduated on my course, which is nursing but that does not mean you are a professional nurse already. Before we become professional nurses, we need to pass our National Licensure Examination for Nurses or NLE. For us to pass that exam, we need to study again or should I say, enhance our knowledge so we had to took a 3-month long review in a review center. We studied all the concepts again related to nursing, diseases, proper interventions and so on. Then, 3 months passed and the fateful 2-day examination came. It was last July 2 and 3, 2011. We had 5 sets of examinations that needed common sense, analysis and critical thinking. The result of the exam was released after a 37-day working period. Earlier then expected, and thank you Lord for I passed the exam! And so, registration came and I got my PRC license last October 27, 2011. Yes! I am a Registered Nurse now. Yay! :D
I've been idle for 3 months now, since the day of examination and the release of my PRC card. With my license now, I can go and search for job as a nurse. I applied to different hospitals last November 3. Hopefully, I will be accepted to any of those. Finally! Me, who was just a student, is now a society citizen obliged to help and work. :))
