Trollolloll
This has been bugging me for a while now: back in my days a troll was - let me quote Wiki - 'someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion' - but recently, when the plot of a story (novel, manga, anime, whatever...) doesn't go as predicted, someone's favourite characters don't get together in the end or anything else remotely surprising happens, the author is accused of trolling.
Every time i see that, i'm itching to slap that person ask just wtf is that supposed to mean? When did the meaning of troll change like that?! Did i miss something?! Am i too old?!?
