ZOMG, I'm exhausted. This is my first day back at work in two days and I feel like I've been gone a lot longer. I still have no appetite, but I have to eat something so I can take some medicine. Susan thinks that I should go home and to the doctor. Pshh. I don't go to the doctor's unless it's my last resort. Plus, I feel a lot better. I can actually walk without feeling dizzy.
Kristen came in here talking some foolishness so she got yelled at. She asked why was I out. Now I saw one of the staffing reports that was sent out when I was out and it explicitly said that I was sick. Jewel called me and she heard in my barely-existent voice that I was sick. I'm not saying that I'm above taking days off for the hell of it. Because I have and I know I will do more in the future, but when someone has 2 boxes of tissues on their desk, a bag of cough drops on their desk, and talks all stopped up...one would think that they were sick, ne? Plus, when I'm just taking a day off, I just say "Hi, I'm not coming in today." No lie, no excuse, just "you ain't gonna see me today". So, she's like, "Did you have a tumor?" WTF? I said, "No. I was sick. o_o" She goes on, "So you had a tumor in your neck?" WTH is she smoking? Again, I said, "I was sick. O_O" She said "Does the tumor --" I then screamed, "I'm fucking sick!!!" Why is that so hard to comprehend? She left and came back asking me "Do you want some Chicken Noodle soup?" I calmly said "no." But, what I wanted to say was "Please kill yourself, kthxbai." Then, she was like I should've had a flu shot like her. She went on to say that she usually gets sick all the time, but since she had a shot she hasn't been as bad. Ok, I usually get real sick twice a year - once in winter/spring and the other in summer/fall. I've gotten a little ill because I caught germies from kissing Ike when he was sick twice, but I wasn't laid up in bed wishing for an executioner like I was on Sunday. I tried to reason with the lunatic and said that a cold and the flu are caused by TWO different viruses. Even if I had been vaccinated, if I came in contact with another virus, what would that do? If that was the case, I could get a flu shot and would not have to worry about catching HIV. I mean, they're both virii, right? So, I went on, "Why would I pay $35 dollars for a virus that I may still get, but not be sick for as long otherwise?" Bleh, take your reasoning on somewhere else. So, she's left me alone since. I think the word is out that I want to be left alone. My lights are off and I've reserved my responses to no more than 3 words except to my boss and Jewel, the only ones with sense around here. Perhaps, I should've stayed home and declared musical war with the Hispanic people upstairs again.
In happier news, I found my Frog Style frogs that I bought from Otakon and I put my Tanabata Frog on my cell phone. It's so cute!!! I may try to sell the others though. But they are so adorable! So, I just might put the others on. I haven't opened them though. Darn Nikki and her friend for getting me interested in them!
