Go Michigan!
Ok, not a usual entry, but I gotta talk about some football!
Over the weekend was the NFL draft and I'm so proud of my boys from Michigan! Everyone knew that Jake Long was going to be drafted first since he signed with the Dolphins on like Tuesday. I was happy as hell. I mean, the Dolphins suck, but hopefully he can help them turn that around. I was equally elated when the Dolphins picked Chad Henne! The Dolphins have a Quarterback, lol. I'll have to watch the Dolphins with Mike now. Ike can't talk too much shit about the Dolphins to Mike since two of our boys are there. On the second day was when we really started watching because we were out most of Saturday. That's when Shawn Crable was picked. After him, Mario Manningham was chosen. Ike was mad that he went to the Giants. I wish that he would've stayed in school, but since he didn't, I was just glad that he was drafted. I was nervous about Mike Hart. I love that little boy! But, he's so small and this commentator kept talking shit about him and how he wasn't as fast as another small Running Back who had already been drafted. Guess who picked him? MY COLTS!!! So, I hollered about that. I need to write a comment on his page cuz I'm so happy for him! My loyalities do not have to be divided!!! I HAVE to go to a Colts game. I sure hope he gets some PT. Finally, Adrian Arrington was picked by the Saints. I don't know how Michigan is going to be this year under Rodriguez, but at least the players that I've gotten to know over these past two seasons are going on to bigger and I hope better things. ^_^
