i was looking for the official website of the microphones, because i like them so much, and i was thinking "gee this is a pain in the ass," because i kept finding stupid websites with audio recording products or websites with microphones tour dates from 2003. THEN, i discovered that phil elvrum, the main microphones guy, is now singing under the name mt. eerie. woah. talk about life-changing discovery.
so, here's phil elvrum's website. there are links on it to stream or download his new music. and you can buy his new album for six bucks, but it's on vinyl. is that suddenly cool? i mean vinyl is sexy, but what a pain in the tucku$.
