56 - With eyes as dark as midnight
It's about damned time. What the hell was that anyway - just a random whim to make us all freeze for a week? Ugh.
Oi, Eliwood, that was a good idea - setting up that fire at work. It at least made it possible to tend to things. The horses seem to have held up okay through this, though I'm sure they are more than ready for some normal weather for a while too. Tch.

Now the kid's here too. He's younger like the girl is though. What the hell is going on? You've remembered the girl the same as the manjuu and me, so I think you're the guy we remember, idiot, but these two... if they are them from another world or from the past, things could get messy.
Pisses me off, but I'm waiting to see what they remember before I tell them much more. For the time being, I'll just keep an eye on them.
We're all here again.... There has to be some way to keep us from being split up again.

I've noticed something recently and I don't like the conclusion it points to. Has anyone remembered something they should have with them from when they arrived, but it's just not here?
I know of at least two people in this situation, and I'm starting to think it isn't limited to just things or objects.
Anyone else noticed or heard about anything similar?

It's been a while but I've remembered something else. A whole slew of memories about three places all connected together through different points in time. Yama, Shura, Shara... We all arrived there but were split up, somehow when the manjuu took us there, we'd lost track of each other. I know the girl and the kid and the manjuu were elsewhere in that country.... And I wasn't alone, someone else was with me too. People don't talk to thin air like that and I sure as hell didn't drink all those bottles myself. Not in one night anyway.
That world, Shara, while we were there at a shrine, the sky opened up and we were sucked up into a place called Yama instead. While in Shara, I could still understand the people around me, which meant the manjuu was at least somewhere nearby, but in Yama.... let's just say I was lucky that the language was somewhat similar to the one back home. It wasn't the same, but I could get by. Must have been in that place, fighting in Yasha's war with Ashura for half a year or so. It wasn't bad, opponents to fight, a new battle every night. Didn't take long before me and, I can only assume that blonde, had risen in the ranks to become Yasha's top two fighters. Whoever it was was watching my back in those battles too. Then one day the kid showed up there.
Heh. I still remember the look on his face when he found me on the battlefield. Didn't make it easy on him though. I wanted him to show me what he had, so I played along like I couldn't remember him. Tch... the irony or whatever behind something like that now just pisses me off. Either way, he handled himself okay, still needed more training though. Yasha and Ashura finally ended their fight a couple nights later and the castle on the moon collapsed before everyone was whisked back to Shura country. Yasha had been only an illusion created through a feather the whole time... Since we had the feather back, the manjuu took us back to Shara, but the place had changed. People who'd been fighting with each other over differing beliefs about those two were now peaceful and worshiped the gods together.
Our involvement in those other two places, the past, must have changed that place's future. That's what the kid said.

Why can't I remember that idiot still? We must have been in Yama together, alone, for six months, fighting in that castle every night. I know he should be there, but my mind refuses to see him, to recall a face, a voice, an action... Nothing. Nearly passed the fuck out trying to force what I know should be there.
Ike's sword. Sora's sword... I wonder if anyone else will speak up with something they're missing. I didn't have Ginryuu since I paid it to the witch and the manjuu had Souhi until the blonde found it there... maybe because I didn't have either with me when I came....
But why? Why does it have to be that guy - I don't get it...
