I hope that you had a wonderful day!

So my hope for 2017...I think survive at school? XD. Since this year I will have exam, I hope that I can pass them ^^
Oh my other hope for the 2017 is learning japanese! And go to Japan after school ends, I really hope that I can do it~

Regarding 2016, this was a very great year for me. I met new people, not only in rl, but here on lj and also on twitter and I have now new friends ^^
I have two favourite songs of 2016: "Don't you get it" and "Fukkatsu LOVE", both from Arashi *-* While the drama that I loved this year was Sekamuzu of Ohno ^^ Really a good drama~
My favourite anime was Yuri on Ice!!! it is soo wonderful and I had soo many feels for it!! While my favourite manga was "Orange" *-*

That's all I think hahah, I hope that 2017 will be a good and wonderful year <33

Fukkatsu LOVE is such a great song deshou?? Don't you get it too! Even though I prefer Seishun Boogie from Arashi's latest album ^-^

"Seishun Boogie" it's a really good song! It gives you energy ne? And to me the intro could be an opening song from an anime of 80s-90s XD.
Basically I love all the songs of the "Are You Happy?" album because in it there is everything that I like~
I really like all the songs but my favourite are FL, DYGT and Nino and Matsujun's solos ^^

OH SHIT, I HOPE YOU DO WELL ON YOUR EXAM. GOOD LUCK!! And I'm super happy for you for making a bunch of new friends--that's always the best. I made some new friends of my own and they've been making things a lot easier to deal with; I'd forgotten what it was like to have so many people to talk to.

How far are you in your Japanese studies? My suggestion would be to watch TV shows and listen to music because that really helps the speaking/listening portions, but I'm sure as a fan of Arashi you must be doing a lot of that already. After that the only real difficult part would be learning kanji!

Personally, I learned Japanese through watching TOKIO's variety shows for years. XD; I haven't really had any formal lessons.

Fukkatsu LOVE is the only new Arashi song I've heard. Honestly, the latest song I'd heard until Fukkatsu LOVE was Bittersweet? And man, I'm honestly no huge Arashi fan, but Fukkatsu LOVE is so god damn funky I have it on my iPod. >:|

I think that it's a song that someone can easily like because it's not like normal jpop so it can reach more people ^^

My japanese studies are still at the beginning since I started to study it last summer and, like you, without formal lessons. And since in winter there is school I have not enough time for japanese :( Fortunately shows and music are a great help as you said; thanks to them I can understand the pronounce and also I start to recognize words.
As for the alphabet, I learnt the hiragana and katakana and now the real obstacle are the kanji >.< I know only few of them and they are like 200000 and I'm afraid that I will never win against them XD. But I will do my best~!!
You learnt it only by watching shows? You are amazing *-* I hope that one day I can be like you too~
