Don't Stop. Can't Stop.

((Sorry if this seems like a really long rant ^^))

Perhaps it may not have been meant to be taken as such, but for me, personally, 2PM's Mini-Album, Don't Stop Can't Stop seems to be making quite the statement, particularly the title track, "Don't Stop Can't Stop" and "Without U". Perhaps I'm one of those odd ball people who tend to over analyze thing but I think those two songs are amazing for the Boy's (well, men really,) comeback.

With the recent, depressing news of "Leadja" Park Jaebum's contract termination in February, there is no doubt that 2PM has lost a large chunk of their fanbase and they have become 6PM, dubbed by the fans they lost. A single person can tell from the amount of fans they lost as well as the comments, harsh and cruel left on their youtube page, that those people were only fans of one person and one person alone as opposed to the whole group.

Now before you all start harping on me for saying that, I believe that a person can support both Park Jaebum's solo activities as well as 2PM's activities. Why? Because I could support them as the 7 member 2PM, why can't I support them as a 6 member 2PM and Jay Park? It's not like their different people. They're merely broadening their horizons. Jay Park is an amazing individual that is true but he did not make 2PM alone. The other members helped and contributed to the group and I believe that they all helped each other enough for them to stand all on their own. Jay Park is doing it, taking the world by storm in his own way and 2PM is coming back stronger than ever (strictly in my own opinion of course).

So from the mind of a person who probably does read to much on things, I think that 2PM's comeback is making quite the statement. From the translations on the MV of "Without U", I thought that, besides the meaning of the end of a bad relationship, maybe it's their way of stand up after the loss of their fanbase. (Personally, I thought with the loss of their fanbase, they can weed out the loyal ones, the ones who like them no matter what [as well as the crazy stalker-ish ones] from the ones who liked them because of Jay Park, not that Jay isn't amazing).

"I'll be okay (gonna be okay)" as a chorus followed by the strong "I will rise up, I will Live On" I thought made quite the statement. They'll continue to persevere even if anti-fans continue to bash them. They'll only get better and better, proving that not just one person made the group. I would also like to point out that Nichkhun's rap happened to be as, Jay Park put it "fire" and Chansung's singing sounds amazing. And the bridge was breath-taking. Everything was simply breath-taking. Everyone really improved and stepped up their game for their comeback.

For their title track, "Don't Stop, Can't Stop," from a translation on the internet as well as the one English rap verse that I could understand, it seemed to be pointing out that while people seem to be waiting for them to fall, to crash and burn, the "haters", will be waiting for quite the long time because I don't think these talented men will be collapsing anytime soon. As the song puts it, "[They're] 2PM and [They're] never going down!" They won't stop or give up without a fight.

And from a HOTTEST in Colorado who probably definitely read too much into well, maybe everything, Good Luck to the boys (men) as a whole. I'll be expecting a brilliant comeback from the both of you.

2PM Fighting! Park Jaebum Fighting!
