It's Soft Serve Ice Cream Day!
OK, so technically, yesterday was Soft Serve Ice Cream Day in Japan. They celebrate on July 3rd because soft serve came from America, and they put everything from vanilla to squid ink into their ice cream in Japan. I got a chocolate strawberry Blizzard today regardless; I don't get them too often, and I wanted to pay tribute to the treat that saved my ass countless times in Japan. The Goddess of Soft Cream demands offerings! ^__^
Now for what I did yesterday:
~ Got the legal name change stuff sorted out. My court date is August 27th.
~ Had lunch at Ruby of Siam, a great Thai place that I recommend to anyone visiting Chicago. Their website is www.RubyofSiam.com. I first heard about it from one of the students in my poetry analysis class; his family runs the restaurant. The dishes there are almost too filling, but very, very good. ^.~
~ Wrote more. Got re-addicted to "Paradise Lost," the OP for Ga-Rei -Zero- in the process. Damn that series rocks!
~Saw Pandora Hearts ep 13. Is it just me, or did Xebec step up their animation quality just for this episode? Cheshire and Eques looked absolutely AWESOME, and it seemed somehow...crisper throughout. I can't really place the change, I just know it looked better than usual for some reason.
OK, I'm gonna go watch Witchblade now. See ya!
