Okay, so I started to use LJ again after 4 years. I know this is crazy but I'm just in the mood to update and because it's still January 2015, I kinda wanna reflect on my life and on what has changed the passed years. I know LJ is somewhat dead and the most people I used to write with aren't active anymore and almost all communities aren't up to date anymore. If there's still someone please say Hello!! :D
I guess the reason why I stopped updating was my private life and the arrival of other social networks.
I used to have facebook to keep in touch with my friends, because I moved to an other city for two years, but I just didn't like the fact that you almost have no privacy and they just have access to almost everything about you. And the fandoms moved to tumblr. It is a nice way to share pictures and gifs but you can't really discuss this like it was the way with LJ.
A lot has changed but I feel like I somehow haven't changed that much. Regarding fandoms and interests, I'm still nuts over Japan and almost everything that has something to do with it. I still try to catch up with the latest news and Jdramas. But I'm not that into Tokusatsu anymore. After Kamen Rider OOO I stopped watching Toku, which is sad, but I didn't have the time anymore. I also couldn't like Fourze and it was not my thing. Maybe I was clinging to W, which was everything back then. :D I'm still a fan of Kiriyama Renn and Suda Masaki though. But I still support all the actors I've liked before. My faves are still Nagayama Eita, I love all of his works, Sato Takeru and Okada Masaki. I also like Shibasaki Kou and Eikura Nana's works.
Music-wise I'm more into J-pop than J-rock. I was such a huge fan of Alice Nine, but the Band that really helped me to go through a horrible break-up was Kanjani8. Their cheerfulness and humorous way really helped me to get over this and I feel like they really saved me. That sounds so weird, but I'm really into their music and try to catch up with their concerts and variety shows. I love them.
I'm still not fluent in Japanese even though I was studying like crazy. It's kinda frustrating. But I wasn't as enthusiastic the last year as before. The only thing I could achieve is a trip to Japan in Summer 2012. It's been a blast and I'm doing my best to really move to Japan, at least for one year.
I hope to achieve a lot of goals and to fulfill all the New Year's resolutions I set. Whoever reads this or if someone reads this at all, I hope you'll be able to fulfill all your wishes, I wish you a Happy New Year and all the best!
