Earring splurge
For all the hype that was put on when I brought up the idea of a cartilage piercing, I HAVE TO SAY… I was highly disappointed.

Having two other sets of holes in my ears prior to the event probably helps a bit because I know what to expect. But…Really. I was QUITE disappointed. I think the after-pain is WAY worse than the initial pain, honestly. I mean, it’s a minor nuisance for about a week and then it wears off. Which is understandable. It’s like going through surgery and having sore innards. You’re fucking up your body, it has to adjust. After it’s adjusted, you’re fine and in the clear.
The only downside to this is that the cartilage takes up to…. Uhm…. Two months to “properly” heal. Yeesh.
All that’s left now is one more cartilage and a lip ring and I can call it quits. J I probably could have just gotten the cartilage yesterday, but I didn’t want my ear to be IMMENSELY sore.
