Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

So, I went to see it today.

What I said it would be in comparison to the book was on-spot, but never mind. Haha.

First, The Susan/Caspian things they were doing were sort of awkward because... it's an allegory for Christianity. I mean. There's a scene where Aslan turns a well of water into a well of wine. If you needed any proof after the stone tablet, there it is.

But yes.

Anyway, seeing it and then hearing about Caspian/Peter is ruining me. Because.

It's the Medieval Ages, really. (Speaking of which, the costume design was amazing as always). So...

I'm getting the unbidden urge to write a story where Caspian is doing the whole chivalric love with Susan, which were generally expected to go nowhere, and at the same time be having a mostly-physical relationship with Peter and really unable to chose either of them (since the kind of love he has for either is completely different).

Of course, he knows that's it's rather irrelevant since they'll have to go home sooner or later.

And it would be dark and bittersweet and tragic and I want to but I don't think I can and

I think the Caspeter fans would hate it for the Suspian and the Suspian fans would hate it for the Caspeter and...

Somebody stop me O.o;
