Here's what I basically just posted on my political xanga:

Have any of you heard about Zach? The kid getting sent to straight camp? The news is spreading via a lot of blogs (esp. lgbtq ones). Basically, he and other gay/lesbian teens get sent to this horrid camp where they're never given more than 15 minutes' privacy and may have no more physical contact than a hand shake. And they basically say "If you can't un-gay yourself, you might as well commit suicide."
It is utterly inhumane, especially for this day and age.
Here's a petition if you want to try to do something about it.... I'm always skeptical about online petitions, but I signed just 'cause I don't know what else to do.

I just think it's so wrong.... I also feel like this must be a scam becaues it seems unbelievable to me.... But there's a lot of info about it on all the lgbtq blogs and sites, so i doubt it's a scam.
I signed the petition.... though I usually doubt online petitions. I guess I just figured I wasn't sure what else to do!
But anyway, it's almost noon.... I need to go to work at four.... but before that, i have to shower and go grocery shopping. Enough of this blog stuff!!!!
