Guess who recently graduated bartending school.... ^.^ :-D heehee

I know I got a 100 on the practical exam- I had to make a Cosmopolitan, Grand Gold Margarita, Sombrero, Sex on the Beach, bone-dry Martini, Mudslide, Hawaiian Sea Breaze, Long Island Iced Tea, and a Tom Collins. I got them ALL correct- garnish and all!
Then I did pretty darn good w/ the free pouring.

I also took the written exam, but I don't know yet how I did. I think I did well, but I think I forgot what type of spirits composed certain brands.

So right now I'm in my room, sipping some excellent Polish beer (my dad and I split a bottle). It's the BEST beer I've tried so far- it's sweet, but not the yucky kind of sweet most "sweet" beers have, and also it feels kinda creamy. Yes, this is definitely sit-and-enjoy-it beer, as opposed to shitty-but-easy-to-chug-and-get-drunk-with beer. I even like it better than Coronas (which were my favorite before this one). Yes, Polish rules over Mexican! lol Us Pols kick ass..... ok, ok...

Anyway, I am now gettin' down and job huntin'! Here are my plans:
Tomorrow
Apply at Inn at Essex and Lincoln Inn.
Sunday
Apply at Chilli's, 99, and other pubs in Williston
Monday
Apply at Sheraton, Lunig's, and other places in downtown Burlington.

That's my list at the moment.... I'm really glad I took the bartending course, because I feel confident about getting a job.... And even if I don't get a bartending job, there are TONS of other places hiring right now that I can try for. I really want to work at that bagel place on Church Street.... heehee mmm bagels.....

In the mean time, GREGORY DOUGLASS is performing tonight at the Stomping Grounds in Essex. Then tomorrow is the Memorial Day Parade, to which Dad and I will bike ride to. Then I'll check out the 2 hotels in Essex, then Nez and I plan to see Beauty and the Beast, the musical, at Essex High School.
Woooo... I have a fun weekend ahead! :)
