Heh, well I just woke up from a nice 11 hour sleep, and I must admit, grad was super fun. Despite the fact that most of my friends graduated as OAs, and most of the grade 12s were nothing but classroom acquaintances, it was still really fun. My limo was pretty sweet(only $20 for me:P), well, the limo wasn't but the guy driving it was really nice, and treated us really well, driving us to the casino for a bit of sic bo before we headed off to the boat cruise, didn't win/lose any money though. The reception at the start was ok, seeing everyone all dressed up, meeting some of the people I'd never met, but talked to before like Adam Wasselnuk's girlfriend, nice girl. From there, we hopped over to the chateau, where it was dinner. We unfortunately got kicked out of the bar downstairs because our function wasn't "alcohol licensed" or some bs...that was quite frustrating, since I had to chug my pingt I was going to savour. The slide show was well done, thanks to the Hepmeister, and the dinner tasted pretty good, despite the trickery of the false cheese cake (grrr). Now, the boat cruise wasn't as fun as the OAs, but it could have had the potential to. There was no feeling of communal love I suppose, for everyone on the boat, everyone was off in their little groups doing their own little thing, whereas the OAs I felt, had a stronger bond with each other, and it felt more like one big group then a bunch of small ones. Anyways though, I gotta thank Cody for the ride home, and so long Mike C, have a fun 6 weeks at camp.
