Gah...
I was going to write this earlier, but... it was 15 minutes to Sky High coming on and I didn't want to miss it. O_o; (Just in case you don't know, Steven Strait's in it.)
Today marks the end of the week and what a week it's been. Monday: school. Tuesday - Thursday: no school. Friday (today): school. Monday I tutored. Today I tutored. . . . I feel pulled.
I anxiously watched the clock (down to 10 minutes) while my dad made tuna fish. ^w^ mmm... tuna.
So, yeah, I watched Sky High. And obviously I love Steven Strait. My favorite scene with him is where he is sitting in "The Paper Lantern" with Layla and she's just finished talking about how she's in love with Will and Warren says, "Wanna know what I think?"
She nods and he says, "To let true love remain unspoken is the quickest way to a heavy heart."
She looks at him and goes, "Wow. That was deep."
He says, "Yeah." Then he lifts a fortune cookie paper from off-camera and says, "And your lucky numbers are... 4, 16, 5... and 49."
I love it! >_<
Well, to be honest, I love all of his parts. They are all really awesome and amazing. It's hard to believe he's only 22; he looks much younger. Actually, he looks however the role requires. Wow. I just thought of something.
HE'S ONLY FOUR YEARS OLDER THAN ME!!! O_O Oh. My. Gosh. I could TOTALLY date him! >_<
Yeah right. -_-;
Anyway, at the end of the movie, at the dance, there's this girl (the ice girl from the beginning) and she's standing next to him (and I love her dress) and she looks at him and ices her arm. Warren flames up and when they hold hands, they cancel each other out. I loved that. I really did. I kind of see myself as the ice girl (and no, not because she gets with Steven) because I'm generally the cold one that guys don't like like that. On MSN, I've changed my name so it reads:
"氷姫～ICE PRINCESS～ 炎王子は？～WHAT OF BLAZE PRINCE?～ 溶かして～MELT ME～"
And yeah, totally inspired by that scene, but totally true for me.
