Since it's been a while, I thought I'd try to recap my winter break...
To being with, my fall semester was crazy. I had an atrocious schedule and was so busy I just wanted to have breaks all the time. ;A; And in addition to school stuff, I tried had to work on my Norse mythos project.
Welp, I ended up with two As, two Bs and a C (this was pretty much expected), and ended the semester. I went back to one card every week (instead of bi-weekly) and managed to, over the course of the break finish them! C:
Here are the ones you may have missed:
I had so many people ask me about buying the deck that I've decided to produce about 30 sets and sell them for about $12. This is going to happen in late-January. c:
In addition to that, my bro and I found this super neat place near our house. It's an endless field with small hills and such; really cool! On one of the early cool days we went there and took a bunch Melty Blood pictures. Many of them are suppose to be actual game-play reminiscent but a few I edited to have features from the actual game.
Here are those!
My break was, for the most part, uneventful. I saw Sherlock Holmes 2 which was FREAKIN' AWESOME. If you haven't seen it yet or you weren't sure about it, I highly recommended going and seeing it. It was great.
I had a sleepover with Mel and Kirky the day after Christmas with my brother. We saw all of the Avenger-related movies (except for The Incredible Hulk because my bro and I were the only ones who wanted to see it). Later, after we got back, we did end up seeing it so I'm super pumped for May 4th! 8DDD
Recently, I've been watching my brother play Suikoden IV and Suikoden Rhapsodia (AKA Tactics in the US). If we have the opportunity, we're gonna start to replay V, move on to I, Gaiden I, and so forth until we get to III (obviously basing our play by the timeline, not game number). I've only been familiar with V and a bit of III, so it's interesting to see the others.
In other news, school does start on Monday for the both of us. We have opposite schedules, it seems. I'm on south MWF, while he's on north and TuTh, I'm on north while he's on south. Additionally, MWF I have to be there early and MW stay late, while my brother stays late Tu. This semester I have a mixture of interesting classes and one or two boring classes, like Contemporary International Problems or Economics in Asia. Blah. On the other hand, I'm taking Japanese 6 and a few of my classmates got our new book and they say it's great! 8DDD
Saturday I'll be doing some back-to-school prep stuff but Sunday I'm going to Morikami for the New Year's festival. My brother and I are going to dress up as Shiki and Kouma to take a few pictures that should round out our showcase of them a little more nicely. c:
Here's hoping this semester doesn't kill me! XD;;;
