Other Happenings
In other news, I STILL HAVE A TON OF HW. DX UGH. At least it's fairly easy... I won't be able to work on anything tomorrow until late because I have a cleaning gig. 8DD I will get paid $10 an hour to help clean this woman's house. I've actually done this before, but it's been awhile. Still, the money is good and relatively easy. =w= I'm sure I'll still need more for my Metro expenses, but I'm sure things will work out.
Today was Ash Wednesday which is the start of Lent. Today I will "fast" for 40 days until Easter and avoid meat today and on Fridays. (Fasting consists of only having one big meal which is usually dinner for me. Granted, that's pretty much what I do under normal circumstances anyway!) Anyway, I drove us to church tonight and some jackass almost front ended me because s/he didn't have a turn signal on to let me know they were going to cross paths with me. And then I managed to squeeze our wide car into and out of a tight parking space. Granted, I knocked the side mirror of the car next to me around... twice. XDDDD But the ride home was much nicer; no accidents at all. c:
Mel's Keyblade is ready to be cut out, which I was going to do tomorrow, but due to that new found work which can't be put to the side, I'll be cutting it out Saturday and from then until... Wednesday or Thursday I'll be working on beveling it. Thursday or Friday I'll paint it and it should be perfectly ready for Saturday. <3 So I'll be doing that my whole Spring Break. XDDDD
In between or when it gets too dark to work on it, I'll be tweaking Prompt 6 of my anthology and then drawing the according picture. I actually have two pictures I want to draw for it though only one is suitable for the anthology. I'll be posting the other also anyway. XDDD
After Mel's Keyblade is done, I'll start Nikki's scarf~ 8DD That will be nice because I'm fairly certain that by the end of Spring Break, one way or another, I will be done with The Sworn. 8DD ASLDKHUFSEIGRO THAT BOOK IS TOO AWESOME FOR WORDS. I'm laughing and then freaking out and then sniffing every other chapter. HO SHIT, everything is like... ZLSIUADHSOEIUDG MY HEAD IS EXPLODING WITH HO SHIT.
*sigh* After Spring Break, I'll start working on Kouma and Shiki (and Xion, when JD and I can get together to do that). That should be fairly interesting. XDDD I'm not going to rush any costumes this year because school ends April 24 which will give me more than two months to finish things for Metro. And none of this year's costumes are that hard. *phew* I'll probably work on them during weekends until school finishes.
Hmm... I think that's it. I'm going to go to bed early since I have to work tomorrow. Night!
