Happy belated Halloween!
Yesterday was crazy! @w@ I went to Kirky's and hung out with her, Mel and my brother. We had been invited weeks ago to go over and carve pumpkins, take some photos and to trick-or-treat. :3 So the original plan had been to carve the pumpkins and then take some Soul Eater photos with Mel as Soul, Kirky as Death and me as Maka and then Mel and Kirky would switch and then they would change into Astrid and Hiccup from How to Train Your Dragon and I would get some shots of them and after all that, we'd go trick-or-treating.
Yeaaaah. That didn't really happen.
(First, I should mention that a few days before all this, my brother and I had been discussing what Soul Eater character he would like to do; Free has been on his list for a while. But since Free is a little too difficult for our time and money constraints, we discussed some other characters that might be easy for him to do. We decided on Mifune as being the best but neither him nor I had a suitable wig or trenchcoat. After talking with Kirky we found out she had both and so he went as Mifune. XDDD)
We got to Kirky's around 2-ish. Mel was almost fully dressed as Soul and Kirky explained that she didn't really want to be Death since she felt kind of inadequate as him. I was going to get ready as they started the pumpkins and my brother didn't really need a lot to get ready so he helped with the pumpkins until we were ready to go.
We carved Maka and Soul's soul designs on two of the pumpkins and Kirky carved the herp-derp face that nearly all of the characters make at some point in the show. After the pumpkins were ready at about 4 PM, we left to go to Peacock Park where we took SO MANY photos. XDDD Ahhh, some of them looked especially amazing~~ :DDD
After spending a good 1 to 1 and half hours we walked all the way back, getting back to Kirky's at 6-ish. We pretty much concluded that we wouldn't have time for the other shoots so we changed into our trick-or-treat costumes and then waited for Mel's mom to take us to a richer part of town in the hopes of better candy-loaded houses. XDD
Sadly, we didn't really have that anyway! And by 10, we headed back to Kirky's and shortly after that, went home. I was SO TIRED. Even this morning I was still so sleepy. XD And my calves hurt like a BITCH. XDDD But it was so much fun. c: Can't wait to share photos~
