What is tagging?
Tagging is a very simple and convenient way to organize journal entries. Benefiting both the posters and the searchers, it allows us to search for desired entries in a just few seconds.
If you are new to tagging, we recommend you to read LiveJournal's tag FAQ.
In order for our tagging system to be useful, however, we need to keep the tags consistent.
F O R P O S T I N G
> Currently, regular members do NOT have access to create new tags. Please use only the already existing tags.
> Keep in mind that spelling plays a big role in tagging. Please double check your tags to make sure they are spelled correctly. To make things simple, we keep all tags in their singular form. (watch out for s: news though)
> Use a comma and a space to separate your tags. (ie. f: fanfic/writing, c: kurogane, r: pg/pg-13)
> Our moderators may edit your tags if necessary. So try your best, and mods will do the rest. :)
TAG CATEGORIES
!mod: used only by moderators on any entries regarding the administration of the community
activity: events/contests/challenges taking place in the community (can be held by either the community or members)
characters: specific character/pairing of interest of the entry
discussion: entries whose main purpose is discussion
fan creation: fan creations made by you such as graphics, fanfics, etc
rating: targeted group of readers
resource: essential information or shared materials that keep the fandom going
world: setting in the entry of discussion, fanfic, graphic, etc
RATING GUIDELINE
G: general; suitable for everyone
PG/PG-13: parental guidance recommended for young children; contains mild violence or light sexual implications
R: restricted (same as mature), recommended for 16+ audience; contains strong language, violence or sexual implications such as descriptive kissing, stripping of clothes
NC-17: mature audience only; contains extremely strong language, graphic or detailed violence or sex
EXAMPLE
I am posting a roleplay log that I wrote together with a friend. The story took place in Horitsuba Gakuen. In the story, Fai had a past relationship with Ashura, but had currently developed a romantic interest in Kurogane. There were strong swearing, and some sexual implications at the end of the story.
Possible tags: c: fai/ashura-ou, c: kurogane/fai, f: roleplay log, r: r, w: horitsuba

The truly wonderful side of regular tagging is that you can search for specific entries easily. If you are only going over one tag (ie. c: kurogane/fai), we recommend you to visit our tag index and click on the tag that you are looking for.
If you are looking for multiple tags, you can always search for them by entering the following in your address bar:
