Aaah, really, I've been playing Project Diva ALMOST nonstop, ahahaha xD Now I've already unlocked 100% songs xD 36 songs --or was it 39? Ah, whatever. Ugagagaga MIKU'S COSTUMES DO WANT :x Maybe I should try to draw her costumes and bring those pictures to a tailor or something...meh.

A not so in-depth review
So basically the game is all about rythim; those shapes on the button, you know, circle, X, square, triangle? They fly all over the screen and you have to press them accordingly while listening to the song. Well, good thing is that you don't have to understand Japanese to play the game. Sounds easy? Believe it or not...it's actually pretty hard x)
Told ya it's quite hard.
There are five results you can get. Missxtake, basically you fail to keep up the HP bar (that round blue thing on the bottom left corner of the screen--not shown in that screenshot up there), Cheap, you finish the song but not enough points to pass, which means you fail, Standard, you clear the song just fine, Great, over expectable points, and Perfect, which means--no, not 'no miss', perfect here means you make full combo. COMBO, people.

To make a long combo means you must press the buttons and get either COOL or FINE. Under cool and fine would be fine, followed by sad, and finally worst. If by any means you get safe, or press the wrong shape, ta-daa, bye bye perfect. .___. To make it worse Miku's quite mean in giving ranks. Bah.
Anyway, in order to rank at least great, there's this part in a song (usually by the end of the song) called Chance Time. Here, each combo grants you +100++...uh, let's say...first combo in chance time gives you +100, second gives you+200, third gives you +300, and so on. Maximum score you can get from chance time is +5000, or the 50th combo, and from combo 51 onwards, you get +5000 for each combo. Note, however, if you accidentally break your combo, you start over from +100 :) Chance time is basically your only chance to get great .____.
Costume choice. Shweet :) Have I mentioned her costumes are so cute? xD
The first choice on the main menu list after the welcome screen will bring you to the song choice options. The second one brings you to the costume choice option. At first, you'll only have one choice, the first on the list, Hatsune Miku. But as you play (while clearing certain requirements which you can look for more information on google ;)) you'll unlock many more costumes. So far I've unlocked 80% of the costumes :D
A few examples of the costumes in the game.
You can also unlock Meiko (2 versions), Kaito, Kagamine twins, and Luka. There's also Yowane Haku and Akita Neru, the two fanmade vocaloids. But then again, it was quite funny seeing Kaito dancing (and lyp-synching) a song, sung by Miku. Ahahahah.
The third thing needs explanation should be the song creation mode. No, it's not creating songs as in making a new song. It's basically using your OWN song and make a PV like the ones you see while playing the game :) This is probably Sega's effort to make the game alive until few years from now xD I can't make any explanations about that part, however, since I just can't seem to understand the system for that part ;)
It's my own personal opinion, but...I dunno. Is Sega trying to legalize the usage of fanmade stuff in official items? I mean...no, I'm not talking about the songs--even though ALL vocaloid songs are basically fanmade. I'm talking about the illustrations. All illustrations used in the game (not the 3D ones...well, actually the costumes used are 3D renders of fanmade costumes, but...) are all made by various fanartists throughout...I dunno, PIXIV? But they did give them credits so maybe it's an agreement between fans and Crypton...
Oh well. Overall the game's fun, and I guess I can't get bored watching Miku dances while listening to World is Mine, lol. I just can't get bored with her ridiculously high-pitched voice xD And I guess things will get even better once I understand how to actually use that custom song mode, pfft. Wonder if this will make it to NA. Hopefully yeah xD

Katekyo Hitman Reborn chapter 248 gave me quite the shock. This is probably the first time I've seen Amano showing that much blood. Genkishi...ugh, hate you or not, your death is quite...guro. .____. I mean, exploding? Yikes. Brutal, kora. And wtfff, Hibari, Gokudera, how the hell did those two act as if nothing's happening anyway .___. their face, their face!!
By the way, Byakuran is so hot in that first page :) /shot/
