Show?

Eh, all right. I'll see if he wants to come. I'm pretty sure Ace is always up for a game of cards.

Oh? Good to know. Maybe I should stalk people more often and see if any others develop Stockholm Syndrome like that.

[Obviously joking... albeit horribly.]

Ha! Stockholm Syndrome is only if you kept me captive, old man. And I assure you, if you had tried that, we would not be talking so casually right now~

[Though the words are serious, they're stated in Kaito's usual, almost flirty tone.]

Or maybe that's just why I'm better at kidnapping people.

My crew is pretty laissez faire. Try to kill to kill the captain, we still might ask you to join. Keep trying to kill the captain, and we still won't put you in bonds or chains. I've been accused of causing stockholm syndrome a bunch of times, but I don't ever once remember telling the idiots they couldn't leave. More like a bunch of angry kids gotta take out their frustrations somewhere, eh? [Weirdly jovial toned conversation with completely serious topic... what in the hell?]

Of course a lot of them weren't as hand with their cards, eh. Very easy to beat. Hopefully you're more of a challenge.

I don't want to kill anybody.

Hm? Did I ever say I was any good? I forget~ make sure you bring that card with you though, we'll need it. I'm two cards short so we'll have to use the jokers.

Never mind, it wasn't particular to you, I haven't invited you to the crew. Yet.

How do you get these so thin anyway, eh? I'm pretty sure I could cut a watermelon with it.

I don't know if my mom would like me joining a pirate crew. I already changed my nationality.

Why would you want to slice a watermelon with a card? [You see how he's not answering you, Marco?]

It's just as well, I'm very particular about those I'll call nakama, and Ace is even more so. Besides, I'm not sure how good you'd look with a tattoo. [Clearly this is the important part.]

.... To eat it. [Obviously. I mean... what do you do with watermelon Kaitou?]

Mom definitely wouldn't be happy if I got a tattoo.

... do you have watermelon? [Because that sounds really yummy right now.]

Mothers these days, keeping their kids in school and not letting them sign up for piracy or permanently disfiguring body art. So disappointing.

No, I wish. It was the first thing that came to mind, and I didn't want to say wood or cement and get proven wrong, eh.

[STFU Marco, Kaito's mom is awesome D8]

So then it doesn't really matter if my cards can cut through a watermelon or not, does it?

Wood or cement? Hmmmm... maybe I'll have something else to show you guys later. Just so that you'll have better examples in the future.

[He actually thinks she sounds awesome ;; I mean, you don't go to that much effort for someone you don't care about after all. Also. Marco likes all parents who don't abandon their young. It's the Whitebeard factor.]

Would dinosaur hide and bone work for better examples?

Wait. Shoot?

Uh, yeah. What, you thought I wielded them like daggers or something? There's not exactly any sort of handle to hold onto with on them.
