At the airport. First vending machine siting! and we had to wait in front of it for a while.
yes, i took a picture of the bathroom, don't judge me.
and this was my room at the hotel for the fist 3 days. (well, only one full day, but wwhatever) yeah, it was TINY. We managed to fit 5 people in there though, good times, good times.

So this was my VERY FIRST MEAL in Japan for the next 5 months. Tempura! It was from a tempura shop a the station near our hotel. Maggie and I were so tired and hungry that we almost fell alseep in our food, but it was delicious.
Maggie's meal. they were essetially the same thing, except i had rice, and she had udon.
This was the very first full day we got there, when we went for our orientation. which was at a big stadium thing in Yokohama. There's a French boy and a German boy in the picture. nice boys, nice boys. (oh, and you can barely see the finnish guy, man he was hilar)

RAAAAAAAAAAMEN. We would've had this the first night instead of tempura, but alas the restarant was too crowded, so.... we had it the second night!

And, of course, i had to take a picture of my first McDonalds. lol. My host brother totally works at the McDonalds we got this from. It was good, but i surprisingly enough didn't finish it all, and it sat in the fridge until i threw it out yesterday.
Tonight we're having tempura. GR8 TYMES.
