Halloween
The leaves are turning colors. There are gravestones set up in my yard. There's caution tape and rubber barbed wire along the walkway. There are ghouls set up throughout the house. The horror movies are getting collected. My costume is together. There are promises of sugar rushes that last for weeks. One of my favorite movies ever is going back to the big screen in 3D.
I wanna go out and dance in the streets. I wanna have so much sugar and caffeine in my system I can't stop moving. I wanna see everyone's costumes. I wanna go from handing candy out to children to scaring the shit out of them at a moment's notice. I wanna watch so many hours of blood and gore on screen that I can't close my eyes without seeing it.
Did I ever mention that I LOVE this time of year?
