Down South - Day 1/Night 1 of 3

Dec 26, 2009 00:02

Sleeping over is fun. :D :D :D

Tuesday 22nd, having woken up at noon or so, I started to pack for the sleepover. I'd packed a hotpot, the hotpot stove, gas canisters, Christmas gifts, 12 bowls of cup noodles, clothes, and other things... By the time I was done, I had a small suitcase and it was like Anime North all over again, except this time, I was also bringing my laptop and a bag slung over my shoulder. My dad came by my room and stared at me, as I was trying to close my bulging suitcase...
Dad: Do you have the pack enough to live in Hong Kong?!
Kuro: Daijoubu, daijoubu~! 8D *waves hand in a 'don't worry' motion*
Dad: Daijoubu my ass! How are you going to lug all that on the bus and in the subway?!
Kuro: I dunno... >.>;;
Dad: ...I'll drive you there, you egghead. =.=;;;
Five minutes of driving later, it occurred to me that I never threw my suitcase into the car...
Kuro: Hey dad, did you by any chance throw my suitcase into the trunk? ^^;;;;
Dad: *looks at me* ...Hahahahahahahaha
Kuro: *looks at dad* ...Hahahahahahahaha...
Dad+Kuro: Hahahahahahaha....
Kuro: ...So did you?!
Dad: What do you think? XD XD
...He did. XD;;;;;
When we arrived at Chiya-chan's house, dad was like, "It's a good thing that I drove you here- With your sucky direction sense, you'd never have been able to find this place!" ...............Thanks for the vote of confidence. T-T;;;;

At Chiya's house, Shunsui-kun, Jera-chan, Sun Min-kun and Zare-san were already there. Arriving at the door, I announced to Chiya-chan, "I'M MOVING IN!!!!! 8D 8D 8D" <-it really looked like I was, with the suitcase and all...
Ooh! Zare-san had gotten us three ladies(Jera, Chiya and I) traditional Indian dresses(the sari)!! They were sooo pretty!!!! I, I want a sari photoshoot with Jera and Chiya!!!!! Kyaaa~ VvvvVV <-loves multi-cultural traditional clothing. When I got home and showed my parents the sari, they said that it looked really good on me and were surprised that I didn't camwhore it right away. *laughs*
Kekekeke~ Now that I have a hanfu and a sari, I'm aiming for a kimono/yukata, a hanbok and a Victorian/French dress(Marie Antoinette/Pirates of the Caribbean style). 8D

It's too bad that Chiya-chan had to head for work right away, though... I don't quite remember what the rest of us did for the rest of the day. I think they played Dead or Alive and Halo while I watched... I do remember us eating out at a Vietnamese restaurant~ v
Anyway. In the evening, Bubba-kun came along and joined us while we were playing the Christmas edition of Munchkin(a hilarious, epic card game). Later, Neko-kun joined us, followed by Mosha-kun and others, a few hours later. Booze started flowing, of course, given that it's a house party after all. :P <-had two jaegerbombs and other drinks. Some of us played The Question Game. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Definitely learned a lot of interesting, amusing things about people. *laughs*
That night, I shared Chiya's big sofa bed with her and Jera-chan. It was... Somewhat comfortable, but overly warm. ^^;;;;

Oh, you know how I packed 12 bowls of instant noodles? Mom was like, "Why are you packing so much? You're just going to someone's house for a few days. I'm sure they'll have food in their fridge- It would make no sense if they don't; parents always leave food for their children." I was dubious about that, so I brought the full box(12 bowls) anyway.........
.............I WAS RIGHT. There was no food in the fridge. Or rather, there was hardly any food to make in the fridge. Booze, juice, cheese... Junk food(chips, etc) somewhere... I think that was it. >.>;;;; I'm really glad that my stomach told me to bring the noodles after all. *laughs weakly* ^^;;;;;

And so ended the first day/night Down South, at Chiya's place. :P
(No worries- This time, nothing crazy or remotely like last year's Up North episode happened~ Over all, aside from a bit of drama, the three day/night stay was calm and pretty nice. XD XD;;;;).

+ Christmas is awesome after all!!!!! A lot of the shoujo series that I'd been chasing updated: Kaichou wa Maid-sama, Boku no Hatsukoi wo Kimi ni Sasagu, Wallflower, Hadashi de Bara wo Fume, Hana to Akuma, Crimson Hero, and Momo. :D

gadd, convos, sleepover, down south
