Ken-niichan, I hail you as a God of some sort for giving my family an amazing site for movies with high quality visuals. *_* I hate how everything is in Chinese 'cause I can't write Chinese for beans, but I love how they have movies all in English, just with Chinese subtitles., and the quality is amazing. *laughs* ...Now I'm gonna make my dad watch Code Geass. >:D <-found ALL sorts of anime on the site as well. Man, I have sooo many to recommend to my dad. XD XD;;;;
ROFL, ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!?! *dies laughing* ...Last year's Anime North Artist Alley tables were filled up within 30 seconds. If you were so much as one minute late to hit the 'send' button, you wouldn't get a table. This year............. The tables were gone within three seconds(...). WTFFF?!?!?! *laughs some more* Not sure if that's true or not, but if it is... Damn, that's insane... XD;;;;;;
Apparently, there is a three-day anime convention,
Otakuthon from July 31st to August 2nd, in Montreal, where I'll be working during the summer. It's only 35 bucks if I pre-register. akshfgaklhgklioeruoawighlkvnn!!!!! I WANNA GOOOO!!!!!!! *A* *A* *A* B, but there are too many unknown variables to be considered in terms of going:
1) I don't know how many days I'll be working per week and it would be rude to request days off of work just to attend a convention.
2) I don't know where Lambo-san lives, since Montreal is HUGE.
3) Even if I did go, I can't stay at a hotel and unless Lambo-san happens to leave near the Palais de Congres, it'd be pretty difficult to travel back and forth everyday.
When I wondered about whether I should head for Hong Kong or Quebec for a summer job, I was indecisive, so I said to myself, "Let the fates decide! Whichever one is better for me! 'A'/" .......I didn't even have to make a decision myself, 'cause right away, the next day, I received my uncle's email about Lambo-san hiring me for work and offering his place to stay, in Montreal. I feel so damn lucky, it's crazy... So it's probably too much to ask for, but I really want to go to Otakuthon, since the chances of me heading to Quebec again are pretty darn slim and I'm just dying to attend a con outside of Toronto!!!! TAT;;;; *coughs* Uh, yeah.
So after contemplating that it'd be nicer to my students if I'd tutored them until mid-June(after their finals) before leaving for Quebec, mom said that I don't leave till June. Sat, 13th or so. :D SO I HAVE TIME TO SEE PEOPLE BEFORE I LEAVE?!?!? Unfortunately, I'm not sure how much time I'll have to see people, though, since I'll have to squeeze all of my Saturday students in on that week's Tuesday/Thursday/Friday. :\
I, I told Dai-chan that I'd see her before I left, since she'd been so looking forward to our practically traditional reunion that we always have during the summer. GADD, we sooo have to go on an outing before I leave as well. Same goes for Ayu and co. I, I'm gonna miss everyone, even though it's only for 2.5 months. TAT;;;
Kekeke, little Korean boys seem to have the tendency to look alike. I cracked up so badly when I saw a photo of how Toma-kun(my student) looked a year ago and I showed it to Zare-san and Sun Min-kun, saying, "LOOK! It's Sun Min as a little kid!!!". *dies laughing* Funny thing is, Toma-kun does look kinda like the kiddie version of Sun Min. So, said guy in question protested, "Yes, that is actually the generic Korean boy face, but then WE GROW UP!!!!! =A=;; Then, we look different..." Dohahahahaha. Now that I think about it, Toma-kun not only looks like Sun Min as a kid, but he also looks like a baby version of Bobby Lee(.......):
.............I SWEAR Toma-kun looks waaay cuter... But equally dorky(.......). XD XD XD It doesn't help that Bobby Lee is a comedian and Toma-kun loves to make exaggerated facial expressions. *laughs even harder*
Meanwhile, Toma-kun's brother, Maru-kun, reminds me of Im Ho, who starred in Dae Jang Geum:
.......Especially when he smiles. *laughs*
Random observations are random. :)
