This is because I like to spend what little time I have devoted to my favorite characters. Manga & anime discussions/squees/flailing/dreaming/whatever.
Well, just in case SPOILERS!!!!
Manga Chapter 2--- FAREWELL KUROGANE
Nihon country. All is peaceful, what a beautiful night!, until someone screams from the rooftops like a crazy ninja.
..Oh, that is a crazy ninja. We're in *that* type of place.

It's our favorite neighborhood moody ninja!
Kurogane: I CLEANED UP ALL THE MESS WHY ARE U WHINING?
Tomoyo has had enough of Kurogane slicing folks up.

STOP BEING A DOUCHEBAG, OKAY? *Sad Tomoyo face* :((((
Kurogane's one true goal is to be the Strongest in All of the Land. And since he's pretty much reached that goal, Tomoyo does a little magic flitter~
|
I love how the two make up their own little sayings to each other. :) It's incredibly good humor in such a tense situation. Kurogane is melted through the floor (aka Magic!) and Tomoyo gives him a "present" and a tearful goodbye. *sniff*

Episode 1: The Inevitable Meeting
There's less of the humor in the anime during Kurogane's departure but lookit the pretty colors ♥
KUROGANE TIME DANCE TO THE BEAT OF MY SWORD IN YOUR PANCREAS
I wasn't too incredibly impressed with the character designs. I do prefer Tomoyo-hime's manga look. But still, colors and movement. Here she is "IS THAT KUROGANE? MUST I GET MY WHIP OUT AGAIN?"
He still looks so very pissed, haha.
Souma looks very good. ^^
