Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist
...turned me into a pile of goo.
I was looking for awesome movies to watch and Kuya Reygo recommended Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist. It starred Michael Cera, who I, after watching Juno, Superbad and several episodes of Arrested Development, think is awesome.
I first got the soundtrack and I thought it was great--probably the type you'd listen to while walking or driving at night after a heavy rain. I'm not familiar with most of the songs nor the bands but I kinda enjoyed every single track in the album.
Then I watched the movie. The lighting alone is worth the 100+ hours of the film. Everything was amazing yet simple. Nothing really fancy in the storytelling. Just great movie-making. I instantly fell in love with it.
But then again, it's just me. Go watch it and see for yourself. :)
