ॐ Second Petal
[It was near dawn and Kanda was feeling unneasy. With Mugen resting on his hip, he made his way out of his room towards the commotion that suddenly began- until something out of the corner of his eye caught his attention. He leaned over the window that overlooked the forest. Something was there and it was big.
His eyes narrowed and the grip around Mugen tightened. An akuma? He couldn't make out their forms thanks to the thickness of the forest. It had come from the portal.
His breath caught when one-- three, five giant, black scorpions came out from within the protection of the trees and made their way swiftly towards the tower's entrance. Not akuma, but still a threat.
Kanda turned towards the stairs that led to the lower floors. If Vergil and Dante were in the tower- and if other outsiders can be of help- then they could protect themselves and others. That and the Science Department can take care of themselves.
With his decision made, Kanda was quick to kick the jammed window open, and with practiced agility, made his way swiftly to the gate. There, once he touched ground and stood straight, he unsheathed Mugen and activated his innocence. It ressonated with renewed power. He'll have to thank Komui later.
He awaited until the first scorpion lunged its stinger and then tried to get ahold of him with its pincers.
Alright, they're not friendly at all. Good, he's been meaning to kill something.
All this time, his golem followed him diligently, albeit with some difficulty.]
[The first thing the golem projects is a video of Kanda facing the scorpions.]
“The front gate is being attacked as well. If you value your life, stay away if you can't make a stand.”
[The last thing seen on the video is Kanda jumping out of the way as two stingers lunge at him.]
[ooc: If anyone wants to join Kanda, jump in! When your character arrives they'll find 2 dead scorpions out of 5. Kanda will be trying to kill a third one but has been stung and is having difficulties. So far, none had passed him.
