Well! I'm back for the holidays from college Polytechnic for malaysians. But if you guys are curious to know, here's how it works.
Vocational Programmes and Polytechnics Schools
Besides the university degrees, students also have the option of continuing their education in professional courses such as the courses offered by the ICSA (Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators) etc. Polytechnics in Malaysia provide courses for diploma level (3 years) and certificate level (2 years).
The following is a list of the public polytechnics in Malaysia.
Universities produce almost 150,000 skilled graduates annually.
. It's been really tough there and lots have happen. but I'll try to keep it short if it bores you.
Well. On the first day there, after doing up all the registration and everything, i just found out that i was "meant" to be staying in the girls dorm. (This is due to the fact my sister registered me into the school as a "GIRL". After about 2 hours later only I got my key. went in to the dorm with my family, some light cleaning. and turns out I'm staying alone for day 1. Joy! However, there are some unfortunate things.
There's wireless but we have to activate it. My dad's laptop sucks! so in the end I had to trade it back for a desktop from my sister. and there's no internet till I activate it. and so far.. I still haven't got it yet. So excuse me if I tend to be missing for such a long period of time. :(
Night alone = Scary! (Hey! It's a new place!) Oh and by the way, i'm staying on ground floor. Fine by me!
Orientation starts on day 2! After listening to non-stop speeches for the whole day, we had to move here and there. And this goes on for the whole week! Aside from that, seniors bully us non-muslim (So yea, we have a separated party among the muslim and non-muslim.) into doing things like cleaning and everything. you know basic things. act weird in front of crowds and the such. Still fine by me but~~ The fact that they retained us from sleeping till 3"A.M."!! Was way out of hand. Tormenting!! And what's worse is that they made us get up at 5 AM!!!! Ouch.. T^T
After orientation was over, class starts. bla bla bla, nothing happends here. (Oh and if you're curious, "NON" of my classmates are cute/sexy. however... the seniors caught my eyes though. only 3 "male" seniors in the 2nd sem. and 2 of them are like HAWT! (Pictures come later after I take my camera.)) Food are okay, though they tend to be REA~~~~~lly pricey
Okay, During the Morale (A.k.a. Non-muslim class) There's this teacher that noticed that i was speaking english "well" as she would call it, and made me join the Elocution team( is there really such a thing?) Malay direct translation calls it debate but we students call it public speaking. She's christian by the way, often brings me to church... alot... and the church converse in chinese.. which I have absolutely little experience in conversing in (and I call myself a chinese.. HAH!) But anyways, she constantly trains me on the speech which is quite annoying since I don't do trainings. :P and about a week later, she made me "ACT" on our independence day. ON STAGE!! IN FRONT OF EVERYBODY!! EXCU~~~SE MOI!!! I'M FIRST SEM!!!!
Speeding things up, Onto the day of competition, 3 cars, 3 lecturers, 2 team (1 islam thingy team and our team), 4 people each on a journey alllllll~~~~ the way to the southern side of malaysia(Kuantan). we're on the north(perlis) The lecturer's driving is totally SCARY!!!!!!! I think I just got car sick. *turns green*
Upon arriving, we had to stay in a school... which is like totally LAME! I mean the entrance and some building were beautiful but as soon as you go in.. Blergh... It's icky and FILLED WITH FLIES!!! Note.. FILLED!!! You leave your food for 29 seconds and flies are covering it!!! LITERALLY!!! Anyways. competition is kinda tough. and i got 4th place.. (DAMN 3rd place gets 150 bucks!!) and took some picture with competitors from other schools too. It was fun. Really nice being there.. I think I fallen in love too~~ but unfortunately he's straight.. :(
(I'm not telling you which am I, but you'd have to guess before I reveal the answer. ;P )
Oh 1 of them sounds like elvis presley! REALLY!!
Anyways. On the way back, we stopped at the "largest" shopping mall in malaysia. And To get lost without the lecturer noticing until they got back all the way north... is seriously amusing. Had to sit a train home myself.. on my own.. and it's freezing!!!!!!
anyways.. holidays now.. painful.. lotsa assignments.. *sighs* Anyways~ On with the work.
