ManikaManila Blind Date Photos!
We at ManikaManila make sure to celebrate most of the year's special occasions. Valentine's Day is no exception. This year, we decided to go for something more active than the usual sit down-eat-take photos meet.
This year we did Blind Date.

We held the meet at a restaurant named Balkan Yugoslavian Home Cooking. How often can you say you ate at a Yugoslavian restaurant?
People!!! Before the event proper began, we made sure everyone had arrived, and that everyone had already eaten. XD
One of the reasons we chose Balkan was the mouthwatering menu and reviews. I just had to try this-the Stuffed Pljeskavica. (I asked several times how to pronounce this but I can never really get it right). It's a huge, meaty burger stuffed with mozzarella cheese. *_* It. Is. AMAZING. (so amazing I returned the following week hahahaha)
After everyone ate, it was time for the Dates to begin!
Participants were allowed to enter a maximum of two dolls into the Dates. We paired everyone up, did a seating arrangement, and the results turned out to be preeeetty amusing. XD
Diva and Starr were my chosen participants. 8D
This pretty lady is named Namie. She's a musician. Which is perfect cause...
Starr looooves music. ;)
Diva got the young Jove. I think she scared him a little. HAHA.

Az and Alice were at the table across us. Az is of course, already making the moves.
Another different thing about this meet was that we prepared questions for the participants.

A while before the meet I made a special request to The 5th Atelier, to prepare a date table setup for couple shoots. Fortunately, Arvie commissioned a patio set from them, and she was awesome enough to let us borrow it for the meet. :"D
Starr and Namie were the first on the hot seat.

It was cute that Namie had come to the meet hoping to get Starr as a date...and she did. :") I hope he didn't bore you too much, dear Namie!

Now we have Violet and Shane~
For once, Violet was pleased with a boy her size. (She's usually seen hanging out with older men. GASP)
Hopefully, Shane was pleased with her, too. :"D
We already had a lack of SD girls in the list, so it was funny that these two got paired up. XD
Zita looked gorgeous in her gorgeous red dress :"D
Ave had this regal aura about her. Maybe they discussed their dresses with each other. Yay girly bonding!
This was one hilarious date as well.
Ichigo got a cute guy for a date...unfortunately he wasn't mature enough for her tastes.
I think he wants to go home and play video games or watch TV. XD Hi Robin!
Auber and Magnolia were paired up. It was interesting cause Auber reminded Maggie of her sister. 8D
Here's one of the most hilarious pairs of the night. Flirty Az and innocent Alice. Well, at least he got a girl like he wanted! (Az is a bit of a homophobe)
...a taken girl. Here's her chaperone, her boyfriend Axis. XDDDD Poor Az is left with settling the bill.
