Update of the Universe!!!! - or just my life...teehee!
As I'm sure many of you know now, Joe and I are living together! ^_^ We're still settling in...Joe is waiting on me to clean up our "closet space" so he can move his clothes in and not have to take trips from here to his house to get clothes for work.
My mother was WONDERFUL in letting us take a double bed, the futon, and our old living room carpet to the new place so it would feel more home-y. She also gave us LOTS of things for the kitchen, including food. My mommy's awesome! Joe's dad gave us a tool box and is going to give us his old coffee table. :) :) :)
I've already had the opportunity to play house a little and cook! I made some AWESOME ratatouille last week. Joe and I were both pleased. Tonight I'm making a spinach lasagna bake! I'm SOOOO STOKED! I hope it comes out well.
I'm also working at Borders full-time right now. Doing my internship at MOCO Arts and trying to get ready for classes in about a month. Overall things are going quite well. I hope it keeps up. :)
Someone hit my Uncle Pierre (Pierre-Francois Concorde...my Chrysler) and I was not in the least bit pleased. Fortunately it was just a little red-orange paint on the bumper and no dents, but still...hit and runs are just lame.
I'm really glad that things are turning out the way they are. I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel insecure at some point on most days...but I'm trying really hard. It breaks my heart to be distrusting...but I must trust him with something, otherwise I doubt I could sleep next to him every night. As far as I know, we're in it for the long-haul. I hope neither of us ruins it. I really like going shopping with him. Coming home from work and seeing that he's there...it sucks when he's not there...especially when he says he will be.
Regardless...I love him. And I love the life we're starting together.
