Stupid Computer Virus's..
Virus's.. how I hate them.. well not really but they can be annoying.. Starting today.. ::looks at the time:: yesterday.. I started getting this Starters Thought's thing or whatever the hell it was called popping up every time I opened windows explorer, IE just starting my comp in general. It wasn't a pop up ad, it was some porn shit that kept on trying to install on my system..
It had this stuff asking if you're 18 or older to install.. (that's a first) but the thing is even if you say no it STILL keeps coming back. Well it was a virus.. so after a little check in the add/remove programs thingy, taking out any shit I didn't recognize.. (I really should make a list of stuff I know should be in there so I can spot the nono stuff)
Anyway.. I started to run my virus scanner.. god I hate that thing.. I set the settings telling the thing that -if- it does find a virus, to NOT ask to promote an action. (as in, the scan STOPS dead, and pops up a thing asking if you wanna clean, delete, etc) and set it so it would just list the files and keep right on scanning, no promote. Thus allowing me to go to bed and let the thing run all night..
I start the scan.. go to the bathroom.. and when I come back.. it found one but did it mearly list it and go on? NO. Even after I set it not to, it STILL stopped scanning completely, and asked to clean, delete, quarantine, etc.. like ~!@#$%^ I told it NOT to do that! I just wanted the files listed so when I did wake up I could just delete or clean them then..
So.. it's now... 5:30 in the morning.. it's still scanning as I type this.. it has found, 7 virus/Trojan files...Well I'm stuck here till it's done so I can tell it what to do sense the damn thing didn't go by the settings I gave it. >.<

infamous_downloader.exe -- Downloader-JT -- C:/
there.. file name, virus name, and the location the files are (least on my system) Now others can do a quick check of the places (or search em) for such files.. tho still say run a virus scanner..
Edit: Virus scan done.. 7 virus's found.. all listed.. but this one I talked about.. that stupid Second Thought's shit.. it's STILL there. How the HELL am I to get rid of it?! I can't even locate the damn file! It keeps running this damn setup or whatever asking to install then it pops up this damn C:\temporary\stcterms.html file thats just the Second Thought's Terms of Service shit.. I don't want porn shit on my comp!! Anyone know how I might be able to find this?! I can't find ti ANYWHERE on my system!!
