Drabble
Rawr. First update in awhile! Yeah..Not a lot happening around here, except school.
Oh! But the Heroes season 1 finale, How to Stop an Exploding Man, aired here on Monday! W00t! =D So now the season's offically over here in NZ, be warned: a huge Heroes spam is going to be posted throughout here xP Icons, drabbles, banners..Whatever I havent posted already.
And here's the first one! Here's a drabble I wrote for Claire/Nathan fatherly-daughter bonding the other night, based on me and my dad in the car when coming home from dropping my friend off at her house. Enjoy!
Top Gun.
She couldn’t help but laugh when he began singing in the car, along with the radio. Shaking her head in mock embarrassment, Claire Bennet looked at Nathan Petrelli in the driver’s seat, who grinned at her for a moment before turning back to the road as he sung.
He was singing along with ‘Danger zone’ from ‘Top Gun’, and clearly didn’t care about Claire hearing him. Nathan kept singing until the end of the song, at one point Claire joined in with the chorus.
The song ended, Nathan turning down the radio, as they pulled up outside the mall. “Well, this is your stop.” Nathan said, giving Claire a smile. Claire nodded slowly, looking at him “Yeah...I don’t really feel like going to the mall now.” She said softly. Nathan raised an eyebrow “Oh?” “Yeah.” She started “I feel like watching Top Gun.” She laughed quietly, looking down at her hands. Nathan smiled, nodding as he pulled out of the car park. “Top Gun it is.” He said, heading home.
