Drabble
Title: Forgive Me.
Characters: Peter and Nathan Petrelli.
Summary: Young!Petrelli's. Peter's 12, Nathan 18. Nathan's been sad and moody, Peter doesn't know why. After snooping in his room, Peter found out about Meredith and Baby Claire in the fire, only to get caught. Peter sits outside Nathan's bedroom, waiting for a chance at forgiveness.

Forgive Me.
Peter sat outside his brother’s bedroom, leaning against the dark wooden door in silence. The 12 year old sat there, only making a sound every now and then when he leaned his head against the door to try and hear his brother inside. He never did.
He hadn’t meant to snoop, to go through Nathan’s things. He’d only wanted to know why he was so upset. And now he did. Her name was Claire, and she was dead. Meredith and her were dead by a house fire.
He felt the door open behind him, and he looked up at his brother’s stony, tear streaked face, speaking only two quiet words: “Forgive me?”
