Domestic bliss, Strangetown edition
Hello party people, I've missed it here ! Long story short: I played. First, The Secret World (awesomest MMO ever) (where I even met zx_ta !) for several months, then my teammate, Illuminati healer extraordinaire, convinced me to move to TERA, then Champions Online and play a bit more casually, and we're now on Neverwinter, while the whole gang is restlessly waiting for Star Citizen.
But yay for now back to Sims !
Where I'm still totally addicted to reproducing video games/tv series houses, and trying to speed things up a bit, let Sims age, and such. But first I focused on making my Sims' houses actual homes.
Let's get the household that already got that part right out of the way: Grunt makeovers !
I have yet to put back some lighting mod back in, so I don't play them much. Ripp is off to college soon (Johnny and Feli are half way through), along with his girlfriend Tiffany (yep, I share lauramonaghan's love for this pairing). Maybe the empty room will motivate Erin and Buzz to roll some Have a baby wants. Seriously guys. Please. (Yep, I forgot Buck again)
While on the subject of babies, and staying in the family, remember these two ?
I didn't show them much, but I still enjoyed my stay with them. The baby stage was absolutely hectic, fortunately Loke and Circe are more involved and Casper and Palle now look like this
And they're MUCH easier to handle, we were even able to fire the useless nanny. We had to accomodate everyone's schedule, the biggest change is that they don't nap from noon to 2pm like every other toddler I've raised so far, but later, because their diet is very strict, and the butler gets in the way and we wait til he leaves to feed them.

I don't remember who is who (seriously ...) I just know that each parent has a favorite who they alway roll wants about but they love both twins, though not equally (kangaroo brief gratuitous shot)
ENOUGH WITH BABY PICTURES (not really just switching babies) (but I love these two so much) (I hope the smart token sticks through their life). I am absolutely in love with the Smith household lately. I modeled their (gigantic) house after the Duncans' in Good Luck Charlie. And I'm giving a chance to the child stage *pats self* oh hey ! Here's Buck !
I've been trying to make their house sorta colorful, and Priya is still their joy and pride (also, my first toddler ever who I bother to dress everyday)
The house is big for only 4 Sims (and 3 dogs), I've been considering letting them adopt again, if only to not have to strip down the house of toys and assorted baby things, but which playable (not from Belladonna Cove) would make a good addition ?
I swear there are 3 dogs in this house (including Feli's who's only staying with the Smiths while she's in college) but only one manages to get on pictures. Might be because the other two are ridiculously small.
Vidcund is temporarily crashing with his sister because THINGS HAPPENED, and I had no idea what to do with him. I'm not sure I like him *gets shunned by simmers community*
What actually happened. She looks so happy ! It wasn't the first time they had a fight, but Vidcund always seemed to me like the controlling type, even completely furious at her he would keeps queuing actions for Kerie, to the point that their relationship always went back up without me.
I guess that's what you get for having two brothers triple bolting for the same woman all living under the same roof. The best room for them to be in was always "the one with Kerie in it". Always.
The mess that is the Curious brotherhood: Circe used to date Paz and Vidcund, Crystal used to date Lazlo and flirted with Vidcund. Kerie is the first one to date all three, but never got serious with Lazlo. Btw, see that cute girl in the background ? When Kerie moved in I noticed she was friend with a kid who had the same randomly generated last name as her, and looked strikingly similar. So, new headcanon, mother and daughter.
Dagmar is actually friend with everyone in the house but Vidcund. And bff with Jill Smith. With Vidcund gone I can finally give her the gaming station/bedroom I've been meaning to for a while.
It might seem a bit strange to evict the Curious brother and keep his ex wife living in the family house, but Kerie and Dag really belong there more than Vidcund ever did. It should be noted that, though divorced, Kerie keeps wishing to date or fall in love with Vidcund. She did not choose Pascal over his brother, I'm guessing she wants both while still being free.
From three men and a baby, to two men and a toddler (and a child robot), and finally, one man and a toddler (and a teen robot). I don't even.
The other Curious brother btw, is finally happy. He got to meet the new girls in the Singles' old sorority, he was getting desperate to meet someone new.
And he did. Adorable biology student Sarah Love is positively lovely.
Just keep her far, far away from your brothers will you ?
Just in case you're worried about Matthew Hart, Sarah and him broke up almost immediately and he's now happily engaged to hipster Monica. They're the second most stable La Fiesta Tech couple, Johnny and Ophelia come first of course.
Now that we're done with babbys, let's meet possible future babby makers
