The Jacquets

The alphabetical order constraint is not helping. The Burbs and the Calientes, who were supposed to be next, are not quite settled yet. Soooo let's meet another random family. The first one from Bluewater village, still in the Pleasantview neighborhood (Strangetown gets Downtown, and Veronaville is big enough in itself)

In this household live Denise and Gilbert Jacquet, mother and son, who were the owners of the local bakery. But after the death of their husband/father, it became too much to handle, especially because Denise spent most of her time minding her son's life, said son was too busy himself wooing women in town. They sold the bakery, bought a new house next to the Goth, Gilbert got a job, and a girl.

Denise Jacquet is not really an abusive mother. She just happens to be a control-freak, and to live by and for her son. She's slowly learning to live for herself, yet she can't let go of her severe nature. Maybe she still has happiness awaiting for her.

Gilbert Jacquet the momma boy is a failed womanizer. As a semi prophotographer he loves women, adores them and respects them, yet is not taken very seriously by girls. A bit clumsy, slightly awkward, but you can't hate on the boy, for he is truly golden hearted. His one want in life is a girl his mother would approve of.

This leads us to the last household inhabitant, Kaylynn Langerak. Once the maid, she slowly fell for Gilbert, and he for her (and his mom too), for she does not see him as a clueless buffoon, but a reliable man she knows will never deceive her, unlike some former employers of hers. Tidy, hardworking, serious, deliciously shy, Kaylynn is adored by her mother-in-law. The only thing missing to her newfound bliss is a child of her own.

And the surely someday ritual awkward snapshot of their house
