You don't know how unsafe your home is until you try to break into it yourself.
Seriously. I climbed through the bathroom window yesterday because the door knob has issues & locked me out (now I'm afraid to lock it), but given that we have this scary metal gate on our door and bars on our window I had idea that it was THAT easy to break in; all I had to do was pullout the screen and since the window was not locked (it's been hot) and the bathroom design allows you to step right onto the sink--it was a piece of cake! At our old place you can "pull" the garage door open as it has an emergency switch that allows you to get out even when there's a fire or a blackout.

On the bus this morning (at an unholy hour, mind you) there came an old man who sat in the very first seat, sideways, and kept looking at me. I sat in the very last row/seat, adjacent to him. He even sat straight in his seat and bobbed his head around to get a better look, and this continued throughout the ride for about ten-fifteen minutes o_o;; At some point I thought I should shed my paranoia and decided that he must be staring at the stern old lady in front of me, who was also sitting sideways and could be facing him if it wasn't for her iron will and ability to completely ignore him (I hope I can be like that someday...). But as he was getting off the bus he got closer, still rudely staring (but not in a negative manner, more in a maybe-I-know-this-person way), and it wasn't till after he got off and looked me straight in the eye for a good minute that I admitted that he was definitely ogling at me the whole time. Creepy.

There's something wrong with my CDRW. I think it broke during the move, but I don't know in what way, all I know is that it's not working. That means I have to connect his G4 in order to watch my Blockbuster movies. Depressing thought.
On the other hand I've read four books from the Artemis Fowl series (I have a nice collection of ebooks to choose from). I have one more and a pile of books to read (that I never got to) so I should be fine until I get my internet connected on Tuesday, at which point I will promptly return to playing Luna Online and start on a new Korean drama, maybe a Japanese one too. Can't wait~~~~~~
