"A man must partly give up being a man with womanfolk." - Robert Frost

I never actually liked Robert Frost. The night his daughter saw him hold his wife at gunpoint he told her to go back to sleep for one of us will die tonight. He also happens to write depressing poetry (although I liked them when I was in my teens but I guess I grew out of that phase).

So what I do when I have a lot of time on my hands and only one store to shop at is try on clothes I don't plan on buying and comparing them to see which is best. Usually I only browse sale items (otherwise I spend a lot more than I intend to, and I also waste too much time browsing everything) so these are from the sales racks:

DKNY dress on sale for $69.00, originally retailed for about $200.00. Unfortunately as much as I liked it, it's made of 100% cotton, which makes it resemble jeans material and so it was HOT and HEAVY to wear. I can't imagine anyone wearing this in California summer (I guess it's more of a winter dress, but I want a year round dress).

Kenneth Cole shirt dress on sale for about $20.00, originally retailed for...I think three times as much? Can't remember. This didn't fit very well in terms of it being too wide in the wrong places so I didn't consider buying it.

DKNY coat on sale for about $70 (if I remember correctly) retailed for much more than that. I thought this coat was amusing 'cause it was very very wide (despite being size S) and so you had to kind of tie it with this teeny tiny string in the middle to get any shape out of it. In the end the shape is more flattering than I had expected, but still not quite my style.

BTW my current "Spring" coat (I bought another trench coat from Guess that I <3 and will show you someday) is from H&M:

Not very obvious since I was trying to make a point of how it looks on top of the thick-ass dress.

This is a Calvin Klein coat that I saw already a year ago (though it wasn't on sale back then), and I do think that it could be my style, if it wasn't for the stupid 100% cotton material >>; It's heavy as hell, bulky, and just not very flattering in that color anyway (I do like the orange though. I know it's quirky but that's why I like it). This was on sale for about $60.00

Now this is my favorite from the whole shopping trip! It's a Ralph Lauren (Runway) real leather black jacket! It's a size too small for me, so that's why it's tight (so I wouldn't be able to buy it anyway ._.) but the real no-go is the price:

o________________o;; Yeah my budget is way below that.
