"I try to avoid looking backwards or forwards, instead I try to always look UPWARDS."

It has been hectic. My energy levels are low and I need to go check myself in for that. I was still sick when I came back (from China), and now that I'm finally feeling better I've been having allergic reactions to the dry and changeable weather.

The cat cries at night. I'm not sure if it's Haruma, but he insists that only she could cry so pitifully. We do still leave her food outside though.

Three classes (only) this quarter: British Literature Survey: The Restoration Period, English: Human Emotions in Literary Expression, & Language in Chinese Society (the latter is only partly in mandarin, and mostly describes and differentiates different accents spoken in different regions). All are late afternoon and evening classes. I hear we are changing to a semester system soon...thankfully, I'm almost done with GE now (the last few I can take only at a CC) so having my major classes spread out in a semester might be more of a relief than a burden.

I work five hours a day, five days a week, now. Sometimes I work overtime. My job is kind of far since our office just moved, so I take the bus to campus. Right now I don't take the bus everyday, and especially not in the morning. However, I have tried it before and I think that in the near future I will try it again for both of our sakes. I don't know if I can still do this job next year. It's too bad. My boss is treating us to dim sum again this weekend. & One month before she goes on vacation for almost a month! :D:D

Everyday I feel like there's not enough time. I feel like I had a lot of time to do everything before, and now I don't. I have to sleep more; I always fall asleep on the bus. I want to have time to mess around more, hang out more, read more, talk more...

.......................................................I don't know. It's temporary, I know. It will pass, as will all. Time flies and I want to pace it at will---but time, like all else, has its own agenda.
