Silly me has let a trash can's existence go to waste as it sits next to my desk carrying random items that I've shoved in it. Every now and then over the past few months I've had-- no shit, _trash_ and nowhere to put it and thought; my, my, if only that trash can didn't have all that other crap in it, then I could actually use it as a trash can!MBF ( Read more... )

I've been thinking that a bit, too. I mean, the people who know exactly what they want. I've got some ideas nowadays, some vague ideas somewhere far away... but they have nothing to do with stuff like "What are you going to do after lukio?" or "What do you want to study?" or anything useful like that. How lucky are those who know what they want to do! They are (most likely, koska ruoho on vihreämpää aidan toisella puolen) more motivated and it's easy for them to prioritise(?), whatever, priorisoida anyways. :D You know, divide their time so that they pay more attention to subjects that are important for their future studies and consider less the other subjects. Hooh... But anyhow, I think that things settle in a more or less tolerable way. Ok, save the doubt that I won't make it through lukio, but otherwise. *cackle* A scheme by Jan sounded quite good, it basically started from taking a year off, continued with not being sure what he'd want to study and ending in the speculation that he'll apply to a uni when he's somewhere around 30. *chuckle* In fact, that thought has cheered me up quite many times. xD
