Recently my cell phone died so I went and got the iPhone 3g. It has a program that can post on livejournal and facebook automatically grabs the lj posts. So proving existenialist theories once again, it is all connected. What will they think of next? So, with this fangled new technology, where is now a cool factor of my posting.
Currently I am on the train to my second interview of the week. The first one went well and I am hoping I can get the one. This interview is for a temp agency. Glad for the interview though, I just hate interviews. I always think I do worse than I probably do and now there is this practice of sending thank you notes after the interview. If it were only that, I think I'd be slightly more ok with the idea but it's less to thank the person and more of an addition to the interview, reminding the person why s/he should hire me. Sounds sketchy to me and yet another factor to unfairly judge someone. I mean when do you send one? For every interview? Does everyone send one? How do you know what to put in one? And, said with sarcasm, how much money should you put in it? I dunno. Maybe I need to learn to play the game?
Other than that, life has been stressful. Kitchen needs lots of work, grandma's broken hip will leave her with the need for 24 hour care. She is coming home Wednesday.
More later. I'm here.
