Human Sexuality ^.~ IT MADE MY DAY!

Jan 13, 2010 15:50

SO now I'm taking a Human Sexuality course and I fuckin' love the class so far. What I don't like about it is that we have lots of fuckin' papers to write, but nothing's perfect. The teacher is knowledgable but my TA is a dumb girl who studies Yugoslavian culture and rape victims. That's as close as she gets to sex and she's leading a Sex Discussion group. Greaat.

Anyways, today we learned about the penis, and I got a very important question answered. Earlier, I wrote an entry on circumcision on the male penis and I could not find data that spoke about infections. Many people here in the U.S. believe that if your uncut, then you'll get infections. Is that in fact true?

No!!! SCORE FOR ME! This made my whole day. It is comepletly false that you'll get infections because you're uncut. As long as the man bathes regularly and washes himself then he should be fine. If you don't shower regularly, then you have to worry about bodily infections anyway. The same is applied for women. We produce lots of vaginal discharge and if we don't bathe then we can get infections too. I've never had an infection. This led to, is it hard to wash? NO! It's not hard.

The human male was born with foreskin. It's natural and they'll learn how to take care of their bodies. I'm so happy to hear this because I don't want to put any future male child of mine (if I have any) under any trauma of having his foreskin cut off. What for?

When the doctor asks me, "Do you want your son circumcized?"

"HELL NO!!! Stay away from my child you son of a-!!"

I mean, "No."
