The end of an era!
I was up until 5:30 this morning.
I have finally, finally, FINALLY finished the "Harry Potter" series.
It was good. So good. I'm a little sad that it's over.
Also, I'm finding it hard to recall a time where I've ever cried more while reading a book. Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series comes to mind as a close second.
So many twists and turns! I cried hardest during Snape's story. My eyes are still a little puffy and my hands bear small cracks from where the tears dried after I kept wiping my eyes.
Ah~, SO GOOD!!! Job well done, Ms. Rowling. That book -- and the series -- will stick with me for a long while.
[[Now I guess I have to find another series to read. (And please, please don't recommend "Twilight." I like my vampire fiction novels with less teen angst and more Lestat.) "Wheel of Time," I'm looking at you! Anyone else care to suggest anything?]]
