Instructions: Grab the nearest book!

Jun 08, 2010 20:08

Instructions:
1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next 4-7 sentences on your LJ along with these instructions.
5. Don't you dare dig for that "cool" or "intellectual" book in your closet! I know you were thinking about it! Just pick up whatever is closest (unless it's too troublesome to reach and is really heavy. Then go back to step 1).

Okay, firstly I'm actually going to have to go for a walk to find the nearest book; because we've picked up all the books from in here. So going to run into the bedroom, try my best to pick up the nearest book (and not the most impressive).

Here goes...

"He beckoned to Harry and led him out of Kingsley's cubicle, through a second set of oak doors, into another passage, turned left, marched along another corridor, turned right into a dimly lit and distrinctly shabby corridor, and finally reached a dead end, where a door on the left stood ajar, revealing a broom cupboard, and a door on the right bore a tarnished brass plaque reading: Misuse of Muggle Artefacts.
Mr Weasley's dingy office seemed to be slightly smaller than the broom cupboard. Two desks had been crammed inside it and there was barely space to move around them because of all the overflowing filing cainets lining the walls, on top of which were tottering piles of files. The little wall space available bore witness to Mr Weasley's obsessions: several posters of cars, including one of a dismantled engine; two illustrations of postboxes he seemed to have cut out of Muggle's children's books; and a diagram showing how to write a plug.
Sitting on top of Mr Weasley's overflowing in-tray. Harry noticed that Percy appeared to have walked out of it."

Thanks, ramon, for the idea. :)
