AWA
I'm glad I went to AWA. On saturday, I took on way too much. Boo for 18 hour shifts!!! But overall I had fun and would do it again next year. For your amusement, a list of the greatest guests at AWA (in no particular order)
• Vic for having an entorage of 7 or 8 girls in ballgowns that followed him around all of friday night like ducklings and for stealing "Ed's" jacket so he could enter the time traveler's ball.
• The guy who tried to get into the time traveler's ball (formal black tie) wearing nothing but a rice hat and a towel.
• The drunk guy who asked me (security) what room the party on the 5th floor was in.
• The drunk guy who wouldn't shut up about the "poopie" doll and who told a guy with his girlfriend going to the ball "Dude, how'd you get such a hot chick for a girlfriend?" before falling over.
• The guy that punched a hole in his hotel wall. Total cost to fix: $8,000.
• The plainclothed employee at the Media Play booth in the dealers room. He caught more shoplifters than all of volunteer security combined.
• The people who cosplayed as Katamari. They won the cosplay competition and deserved it.
