Ok so maybe I don't know what I am talking about.
So I come in to work today and have an email from my supervisor,
Hey Doug, can you look and see why so and so is getting this email from Kana?
(Kana is the email program we use, it auto sorts the email into different boxes and then feeds the oldest ones in to the in-boxes of the users assigned to the different email boxes in the program. This is done to ensure that the people trained on the issues these emails are about answer, and cherry picking is not allowed by anyone that is on the email team)
So I take a look and the person is not assigned to the mailbox, so she should not be getting those emails. Therefor she has to be cherry picking, so before going off half cocked and hitting the offender in the head with a ball-peen hammer. I go over to the only other two people that should be adding and removing people from one box or another to see if for some reason they put her on there and took her off.
And No they did not add or remove her from the box. So I say my thanks and mention that I am on my way to carry out my previously mentioned plan. When they say that since she is a back up that she is not assigned to any of the boxes...That they showed her to go in there and just pull from any box with any that are old, when I stutter out in surprise, Why in the name of god?? the answer is I was easier.
