Quickie Maelstrom Post
I figured as everyone else has found something witty and interesting to say after the final event, I'd ruin the trend by starting a post when I know I have nothing interesting to say (I only ever had one major FOIP*, so that's it really). :D
But yes, it's over, this is sad, I'm pretty ambivalent which is also kind of sad, but still better than being heartbroken (which I would've been a few years ago). Achievements-wise, I didn't die (yay!), and I ended the game as a veritable tank (triple through/heroic endurance/good balance), also somehow I was pretty loaded (how exciting!)
Also I managed to keep the 'family secret'* till the end (not counting quickly confiding in someone in the last hour on the off chance that I wouldn't make it), so that's good too. I suspect a lot of people guessed OC, but oh well. I didn't get done in for treason or any some such, so that's nice. Though relatedly, big thanks to everyone who tried to/planned to/thought about killing me. Just from my quick one hour run around at the party on Sunday, I discovered there were atleast 5 of you, most of whom I'd been on friendly terms with for most of the game (you sneaky bastards!).
But yes, it's over, it was my first game and character and there's been some fantastic moments, but that's the end of that. I'm intending to take a step back from LARPing for the foreseeable future, but hopefully I'll run into you lovely people again. :D
*Elaia DeBrynn was never dead. We faked/covered up the whole thing. Suck it Flambard =D
As I fail at any kind of fic type writing (probably not worth trying), the best I can do is answer any questions, not that I'm expecting anyone to have any! XD
